Marie’s mantra of “Life is good … go for it!” sums up her outlook on life and the importance of surrounding yourself with beautiful people and beautiful things, warming your heart and seeing life in colour. This philosophy drives every project she undertakes. Marie likes to forge links with her clients, drawing and creating new patterns and original designs inspired by their personality and desires.
It is in this spirit that she created her brand of bespoke household linen.
A fashion designer for many years in the prestigious fashion houses of Georges Rech, Guy Laroche then Laurence Tavernier, Marie discovered the world of the interiors when she joined Yves Delorme. Marie wanted to renew her own linen collection. Her expectation and desire was to find original household linens, which where personalized and in harmony with her interior. After several months of research, Marie could not find what she was looking for because the world of household linen was too standardized.
Inventive and determined, Marie drew her own embroidery designs, and selected the materials and the best craftsmen to make her unique and bespoke household linens.
The Marie de Fels brand was born.
Since the creation of her brand, Marie has produced collections of the highest standards for interior designers, decorators, hotels, caterers, cruise ships, and of course private clients.
Stéphanie Jonglez, with vast experience in brand structuring and development, joined Marie in 2019 to accelerate the influence of the Marie de Fels brand. The perfect symbiosis of their tastes and the complementary nature of their skills enable them to work on major new projects and to improve the presence and notoriety of the brand.
The year 2020 promises to be full of projects and begins with the launch of the Marie de Fels website.
